"Torusuoh. Toru, for short. I'm good at Transfiguration and curses. And making things fly. And blow up," Toru listed his talents.

"I love blowing stuff up. I'm good at curses and potions. Oh, and I can do this." She suddenly morphed into a black raven and flew at one of the first year girls, who shrieked and fell over. Aveira was back in her seat laughing before the girl even realixed what happened.

A fox curled up in Toru's chair, with an expression saying, And? Am I supposed to be impressed?

She grinned at him. "Fox, huh? Nice. I like foxes."

"Sly, cunning, smart, and quick. Hunters. I like them too," he said, back to slouching in his chair.

"Well of course you like them. It would suck if you hated them." She shrugged and smiled.

"Too true. If I hated them, I would become something I hated. Well, I already am..." he trailed off to a murmur at the end. He glanced at Aveira.

She raised her eyebrows at him. "Why would you hate yourself, mon cherie? You are beautiful." She fluttered her eyes at him, flirting shamelessly as always.

Toru, undaunted, sighed. "If only you knew," he muttered. "And thank you for the compliment."

She frowned at him. "Everyone refuses to teach me legilimency for obvious reasons. Otherwise I'd be reading your mind right now."

"Well, I'm sorry to say you would fail. I had that problem with a nosey teacher, so I taught myself, forcibly, Occlumency. Painfull, but it worked," Toru winced.

She folded her arms and sighed. "They refuse to teach me that too. Apparently I'm dangerous."

"Humph. More like the teachers are arrogent, and afraid. I can teach you Occlumency, and I could easily get a pass to the Restricted Section for Legilimency."

She grinned. "Mon cherie, Ja taime!" She said in French. She spoke it often and flawlessly. In fact, she was better at French than English.
