Aveira grinned. "Mon cherie, I didn't know you cared," she purred seductively.

Di laughed.

"Seven years and you still don't realize it? I didn't know you were that dense."

Aveira leaned in close to Di, inches in front of her face. "How much do you care?" She whispered.

"Enough," she said, raising her eyebrows.

"Enough for what?" Aveira asked, not moving an inch. God, she loved this game.

"Enough to not let you get yourself killed without me!"

Aveira grinned, but moved back. "I'll be careful," she promised.

Toru yawned and stretched. This conversation bored him, along with the shameless flirting to every gender. "Like, oh my GOD! I didn't know that girls thought thestrals were sooooooo gorgeous!" he almost screamed in his gay voice. His tail added to the effect by twitching around his face.

Aveira shivered at the gay voice. "I'm leaving. Now. I'll see you later, my dears." And with that, she left.

Having the effect he desired, he sauntered behind the bush as a fox and promptly fell asleep again.
