Her breath caught for just a moment, though her face stayed nuetral. "I see. And then what?"

"Then what what? I didn't give it a second thought."

"Did you use their death for anything?" Then she shook her head. He was muggle born. Not even a lot of purebloods knew what a horcrux was. She was being paranoid. "Nevermind," she muttered.

Toru's eyes narrowed. "What? Some blood ritual thing?"

He decided to let it drop. Whatever it was, it was none of his concern.

She banished all thoughts of that subject from her mind. "Sorry. I'm paranoid."

"It will keep you alive."

"I'll bet it will," she said bitterly. Her paranoia was NOT a good thing sometimes.

He put on his gay voice again. "Sweetheart, don't take that tone with me. I'm NOT the enemy here, okay?"

She giggled. "Don't do that. It's creepy."
